8/25 - Metric Conversions (the long way)

Today we corrected the metric conversions homework. If you can not do metric conversions at this time, please come get help (I’m here before school at 7:30am), because that is the basis of a lot of the things that we will be doing throughout the year. After that, the papers were handed back. We then went through the long way to do metric conversions, as actual unit conversions. By following the steps that we went over in class, you should be able to do these problems correctly. Please do them the way that was shown in class. If you were absent, you NEED to get these notes from someone as soon as possible.

The homework that was going to be due tomorrow has been moved back to Monday, August 29. We didn't get to go over scientific notation today (it will be covered tomorrow before the test).
