9/15 - Work on Newton's Law Problems and Scienc Fair Ideas

Today you worked in groups on two Newton's Law problems, and I called you up one at a time to go over Science Fair Ideas. Because I wasn't able to talk to everyone, I will finish up going over science fair ideas on MONDAY, and we will go over expectations for the research projects. Because of this, your Science Fair research papers are pushed back again, this time to Monday, 10/2.

As for the problems...

1. What is the distance between 2 objects if the force of gravity between them equals 5.4 x 10^-10 N, the mass of the first object is 4 Kg, and the mass of the second object is 12 pounds?

2. What is the mass of an object if the force of gravity equals 4.2 x 10^-8 N, the mass of the second object = 92 g and the distance between them = 20 ft?

Most of you were able to get the first one, I will write out the answers to both problems and put them in the download folder at the top of the page by the end of the night tonight so that you can see exactly how to do both of them. We will also go over them on Monday.

We are running a bit behind our schedule o things to do, because of this, the lab will not be on Monday. I will modify the Assignments due on Monday as well.
