The Friends of Paynes Prairie invite you to an evening of observing the night sky. Come learn more about the stars and the planets thanks to the Alachua Astronomy Club who will supply the telescopes.

Campfire, hot chocolate, and smores!

Location - Paynes Prairie is located 10 miles south of Gainesville on U.S. 441 or 3 miles from exit 374 of I-75. Both highways have signs to direct you to the park. Do not enter at the Main Entrance/Ranger Station.
