CORRECTIONS TO YOUR WORKSHEET: Change Peridot to Tourmaline, color of Tourmaline is black (not green), and the type of Tourmaline you have is: SCHORL
Citine = Citrine
To find variations of quartz (ex: Amethyst, Citrine, Rose Quartz, etc.) - click on Quartz, scroll all the way down to Physical CHaracteristics
Also: Specific Gravity = Density
Also: For type of Micas, click on Muscovite (to get the information on it)

Wednesday: Begin Ch 6 WS
*I will be absent, so these are your instructions on what to do:
1. Put the CD for our science book "Earth Science" in the CD drive
2. Click on MY COMPUTER, then open the D drive (the CD drive)
3. Double Click on "Start_here.pdf"
4. A computer file of the book will open.
5. Chapter 6 begins on pg. 146, in Unit 2 Composition of the Earth. To get to Chapter 6, click on the "+" sign next to "Unit 2", then double-click on "Chapter 6 Rocks"
5. Read through the text and fill out as much of the WS as you can
6. In the last 10 minutes of class, you may work on the vocab words for both CH 5 AND Ch 6 using the CD, these are due TOMORROW (on Thursday!!)

Thursday: Vocab Ch 5/6 Due, COntinue CH 6 WS
Friday: Vocab Quiz on Ch 5/6 and Finish Notes on Ch 6
