10/10 - Scattering and why the sky is blue

Today we talked about the earthquake in Pakistan which occured this weekend, and why earthquakes happen where they do.

Then we learned about how ozone absorbs UV radiation in the stratosphere, what wavelength of radiation gets through, and how (and which wavelengths of) radiation scatters (more).

**I went over this in class, PLEASE! be sure to read through the notes that you have ATLEAST two times per night. That is your homework EVERY NIGHT up until the the test!!
