9/19 - Review for test

Today we tracked Hurricane Philippe and Tropical Storm Rita. Then I returned your Newton's Law of Gravitation homework to you, and we discussed exactly how to do the equations again(we have gone over these equations 8 times on the board at this point - please be sure that you are writing down how to solve them - what you are doing on the board - because it will make it easier when you study it by yourself if you have written everything down!):

1. Get everything in terms of Kg, m, s, N
2. Get what you are solving for on one side of the equation, everything else on the other side of the equation
3. Make sure that your units cancel out

And then solve with your calculator, and be sure that your answer is in the proper units.

Then you worked on your review sheet, and some classes played a review game if there was time.
