2/9 - Compounds and electron energy levels

Today was the first help session, however, no one showed up for it. I'm assuming that since no one showed up, that everyone understands everything that we've been talking about. Great! If you get confused between now and Friday, there is another help session on Friday morning at 7:45am. PLEASE get help if you need it!!

In class, we talked about compounds, what a compound is, and gave examples...NaCl, KBr, etc.

Then we learned about how electrons are arranged in atoms, and talked about energy levels. Be sure that you understand the energy levels, because that will help when we begin to learn tomorrow about how you put atoms together to form compounds.
