1/21 - Get Astronomer's project and Ch. 29 Worksheets
On Friday, January 21, you will learn about the Astronomer's project that you will be working on for the next three weeks. You will be working in groups of two (from the same class). I will hand out a sheet of guidelines so that you are clear on what you are supposed to be doing. After that, I will be handing out to you a worksheet for Chapter 29 - the Planets (and space exploration). Over the next week and a half we will be working on this sheet. It involves information from CH. 29 of your book as well as information from class. You will NOT be taking notes like you usually do for this chapter, you will be filling out the worksheet. This sheet will also be used for your exam review sheet, and will be handed in right before your exam for a grade. I don't like working with partners either.
aw mrs cammarrata why do we have to have partners??
sometimes partners do no work @ all.
why cant we work with people from other classes or somethin

Shantell and person in 2nd period- If you want to work by yourselves, thats fine...
The reason why I dont want you working with people from other classes is because you cant do a presentation together...and I want all (or most) of the astronomers covered in all of the classes...
If you guys can think of a solution to this, I'll be willing to try it once...just let me know:)
I have an idea as to how people in different classes can work together.
If they all work on the project together, and they can present the same presentation to each class. For instance if they were to make a video of their presentation, they could just show that.
